The colour coded buttons which are displayed for each runner relates to a different area of the form guide with extra information available and while the buttons show the correct colour green (above average), amber (average) and red (below average) the clicking of these will merely take you to the associated help file, brief description of each of these is found below.

Horse FormThis area displays the previous races in which the runner took part and can be useful when deciding on whether todays racing event will suit a runner and the button in this example is green which means above average.

Racecourse FormThis is the course form area and there are five gauges which display the form for horse, sire, dam, trainer and jockey, as with other areas its colour coded and the button in this example is green which means above average.

Trainer Head To HeadsThe head to head section of the form guide lets the user compare one trainer against another in a race and the result is expressed as a percent of the time our chosen jockey will finishing in front of the compared trainer.and the button in this example is green which means average.

The jockey and trainer winning zone lets the user know when they are most likely to get a winner and keeping an eye out for these types of runner which has either the jockey, trainer or both in their winning zone can pay dividends and the button in this example is red which means jockey and trainer are not in their winning zone.

RACECOURSE FORM

A bit of a mixed bag as far as the course specialists area results are concerned and that usually means average but in this case I feel it should be classed as above standard.

WINNING ZONE

So moving to the trainer and jockey winning zone for this runner and all is good for the trainer who is in the right place but that cannot be said for the jockey of this one who is not so lets go for an overall mark of slightly above average.

HEAD TO HEADS

This event for our runner which we are looking at would seem to be a good one as we are very fortunate to have not only the jockey above average in the head to head section but also the trainer are well so well done in this zone.

CONCLUSION

The course specialists area for the horse was below average which was not a good start and the form rating here is no better and there would be no real reason to think that this Colin Tizzard trained runner can win.

RACECOURSE FORM

The course specialists zone displays some very good results for this runner including for both trainer and jockey but still feel it should be place in the average group.

WINNING ZONE

This runner is described as below average based on the trainer and jockey winning zone and it was very easy to come to that conclusion because both trainer and jockey are well off the mark here for this event.

HEAD TO HEADS

For this runner the head to head area looks to be very much on the poor side with not just the jockey having a bad record against others in this race but also the trainer which can only mean one thing mark it as below standard.

CONCLUSION

Does not really have the best form to its name and the trainer was only average in the course specialists area but it still be worth a bet but only maybe an each way providing the bookmaker will offer the odds.

25

  000000 Cut And Run (GB)

6yo Bay Mare out of the sire Getaway (GER) and dam Somethinaboutmolly (IRE) and will come out of stall 0

RACECOURSE FORM

Another runner which just fails to make the above average area in the course specialists despite the trainer and dam doing well which means a runner classed as average.

WINNING ZONE

If you are expecting to read how good this runner is in the winning zone then you will be disappointed because both the trainer and jockey are outside of the area where they should so below average here.

HEAD TO HEADS

Head to head area now and we will start with the jockey and I can tell you Leighton Aspell looks to be ok in the section of the form guide but the trainer is in the poor category so we should be calling this one a below average type.

CONCLUSION

Generally Cut And Run (GB) tends to look a bit ordinary and this is reflected in the form rating but if maybe possible if the bookmakers are odder odds which are long enough then maybe an each way bet would be ok.

RACECOURSE FORM

For this race this runner such be classed as an above average sort as far as the course specialists area is concerned, ok so sire and dam have low marks but still better than others.

WINNING ZONE

Winning zone result for this runner is not what we are after because both todays trainer and jockey have missed there intended target and there is no other way to describe this runner but to say below average.

HEAD TO HEADS

Trainer does not do that badly in the head to head area but the fact that todays jockey has performed badly against others in this race means that we will have to mark it down and use the words below standard.

CONCLUSION

This runner was let down by the score that the sire of Bluebell Sally (IRE) got in the course specialists area but there could possibly be a glimmer of hope so maybe I we can get long odds then perhaps a small each way.

40

  22030 Danboru (IRE)

8yo Bay Gelding out of the sire Brian Boru (GB) and dam Dandouce (GB) and will come out of stall 0

Trainer
Tim Vaughan

Jockey
Alan Johns (0)

Weight
11-02

Headgear
Tongue-Tie

RACECOURSE FORM

The results for the course specialists area is only average for this runner despite the fact both trainer and jockey have good marks there are poor scores elsewhere.

WINNING ZONE

This contender looks ordinary after viewing the trainer and jockey winning zone as Tim Vaughan has missed the area and Alan Johns the jockey seems to be in that central area so another one classed as average.

HEAD TO HEADS

Both ###JOACKEY### the jockey and Tim Vaughan have a middling sort of mark in the head to head section of the form guide so no advantage with this runner and it maybe better to look elsewhere.

CONCLUSION

Had no problems in the form ratings department for this Tim Vaughan trained runner and todays jockey Alan Johns is very good in the course specialists area so one of the more thought-provoking runners in the race.

34

  000 Marzano (FR)

5yo Chestnut Gelding out of the sire Martaline (GB) and dam Amisana (ITY) and will come out of stall 0

Trainer
Fergal O'Brien

Jockey
Alain Cawley (0)

Weight
11-02

Headgear
Tongue-Tie

RACECOURSE FORM

In the course specialists area it is the dam which has the best mark and some marks do seem a bit ordinary, however others in the race are not so great so lets say above average.

WINNING ZONE

When viewing the jockey and trainer winning zone the signs do not start off as good because the jockey is not in their but Fergal O'Brien the trainer is in a very good position so for this runner we will say above average.

HEAD TO HEADS

This runner has a good record as far as the trainer head to heads go and would be viewed as excellent but is a bit let down by the jockey results which appears more middling but on the whole appears more above average.

CONCLUSION

The overall finial view of this runner would be that it is just another also ran type as there is not much reaches out and grabs, us even the course special stats seem mediocre so this one best left out of the calculation.

100

  002002 Velvet Revolution (GB)

6yo Chestnut Gelding out of the sire Pivotal (GB) and dam Gino's Spirits (GB) and will come out of stall 0

Trainer
Alastair Ralph

Jockey
Harry Skelton (0)

Weight
11-02

Headgear
No Headgear

RACECOURSE FORM

Looks a very poor runner after viewing the results for the course specialists area with trainer, dam and sire all having a low grade mark so one for the below average basket.

WINNING ZONE

This runner appears to be one of the ones we are after as far as the trainer and jockey winning zone is concerned as Alastair Ralph and Harry Skelton are in the correct area and we will say above average for this one.

HEAD TO HEADS

Top class score is what we find in the next section which is the head to head area and in the case of this runner we notice that Harry Skelton who is the jockey and trainer are both in the above average area so top notch in this zone.

CONCLUSION

Would not put anyone off this runner as the ratings look very good and if we add in the results from the jockey head to head sector of the form guide then this would be classed as one of the leading competitors here.

39

  0 Miss Zip (IRE)

6yo Bay Mare out of the sire Getaway (GER) and dam Lady Lace (IRE) and will come out of stall 0

Trainer
Evan Williams

Jockey
Miss Isabel Williams (7)

Weight
10-09

Headgear
No Headgear

RACECOURSE FORM

The jockey rather lets this runner down in the course specialists area and ok there are a number of middling marks it look more of a below average type to me.

WINNING ZONE

This runner comes from the Evan Williams stable which is not good news here are the trainer is not in their winning zone and to make matters worst the ridder is the same so clearly below average here for this event.

HEAD TO HEADS

One of the areas where we find that this runner does well is in the head to head section of the form guide and it is the jockey Miss Isabel Williams who is above average which bumps up the score, trainer more average but together we will say above standard.

CONCLUSION

Does appear to have what it would take to win here with a very good form rating to its name and the horse is in a high position in the course specialists area as well so one of the main group here I would of thought.
