As I have already said it concerns flat sprint
races of either five or six furlongs and it makes no difference whether
it’s a turf or all weather event, but we will need to make sure it’s
being run before 5pm, any later we are not interested.
The next thing to check is that it’s a non-handicap
low class of event which means we are only using class 5 or 6 races,
once we have found one of these we can move onto the final stage.
This final stage requires us to find runners which
are either second or third top rated in our combined ratings which are
marked _C_ in our form guide.
Over the last three months to profit recorded is
£990 for a £10 stake at sp and the graph below shows the results, yes
there was a large priced winner included but even so it has still done
One of the things I noticed while researching this
was if the same query was run and we only backed runners which were also
second and third in our horse ratings marked _H_ in our form guide there
was a loss made.
This suggests to me that we may very well get an
even bigger return for our money if when we find a qualifying runner we
make sure it’s not second or third top rated in the horse ratings.
